Founded in 1981, the Open Pantry of Lowell was the first food pantry in Lowell and continues to be a vital resource for individuals and families facing hunger in our community for the past 43 years. Each week, we distribute over 6,000 pounds of food, reaching an average of 18,200 people annually—including a growing number of children and seniors. As the demand for food assistance increases coup, our resources are becoming more limited, making your support more crucial than ever.
The Open Pantry relies on monetary donations to purchase food from the Greater Boston Food Bank and to cover the rising costs of operating our facility. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, all donations are fully tax-deductible. We welcome contributions made in honor or in memory of your loved ones.
Please consider supporting the Open Pantry of Lowell today. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
